New Zealand is a compact country yet a generous provider of diverse, breath-taking landscapes. Rugged, ragged young mountains lift up amid vast plains, both textured and shaped by the wilds of our wind and water. The latter's journey from mountain to sea holds particular interest for me: from its source, on its route and at its ultimate destination.
